Reeths-Puffer Middle School is honored to welcome Martin Lowenberg, a Holocaust survivor and educator to Rocket City on Wednesday, November 14th & Thursday, November 15th.
Lowenberg is a Michigan native who lost his parents and younger twin brothers in the Auschwitz Concentration Camp. He spent several years moving between 5 different work camps until finally being liberated in 1945. Now 90 years old, Martin Lowenberg continues his life mission to educate others about the atrocities of the Holocaust, and to stand against intolerance. He gives lectures that detail his life experiences as well as spreads the message of love, hope and perseverance. The R-PMS Choirs have been asked to perform at both the evening and morning presentations and are excited to connect art with life as an act of service to our community and Mr. Lowenberg.
