Entering the Classroom:

Leaving Seat/Movement around the room:
Students are to stay in their assigned seats during class. Exceptions to this rule include: moving to use the bathroom or aide station, when the Director gives permission for an activity or when moving learning spaces.

- Greet Mrs. Ross by the door
- Physically in the room by the bell
- Get materials & be seated by the conclusion of the Welcome Song
- Standing for Self-Start/Warm-Up Routines
Suggested Materials for Class:
- Sharpened Pencils (many!) Eraser Caps & Colored Pencils
- Highlighters
- Personal Water Bottle with closing lid
- Chromebook as needed
- 3-Ringed Choir Binder with Dividers & Pencil Pouch
- Sheet Music, Sightreading & Music Theory Materials
- Student subscription to sightreadingfactory.com
- Folders will be stored in class each day unless specified otherwise
- Peace Out Hand-Signal
- Pencil

Bathroom Passes:
- Try & use the bathroom during passing time if possible.
- Use the Bathroom closest to the Choir Room.
- During Class Bathroom Needs: (2) Potty Passes for the Marking Period - use them when you need them.
- When Leaving: Hand Sanitize, Sign Out w/Pass
- If you must leave during class, please consider timing: Are you leaving during direct instruction or rehearsal? Look for a downtime unless its an emergency.
- Take care of business quickly & wash your hands before returning to class.
- When returning: Hand Sanitize & Sign-In back in before returning to seat.

- Raise your hand & approach Mrs. Ross at an appropriate time to discuss the need to use an office pass.
- If a student wishes to talk with a Counselor, Mrs. Ross will first need to call down to the office to see if one is available. If none are available, you will need to wait until passing time to check in at the office.

- Golden Tickets: Earned by being Helpful, Taking a Risk, Answering Questions etc.
- Golden Ticket Drawings: Will happen each Friday for delicious & hilarious prizes.
- Self-Reflection (Singer Selfie, Exit Ticket, Discussion, etc)
- Take pride in the room by cleaning up any papers or wrappers & disposing of them as you leave.
- Director cue: Dismissed by Row
- Assistant Directors: Helps Directors with administrative tasks (attendance, handing out papers, answering phones, running technology, etc, etc etc). Willing to model proper singing/voice parts, Facilitate section activities
- Inspiration Instigator: Find & Send Positive Memes, Lead Good Things
- Movement Coordinator(s): Lead Stretches and/or coordinate physical warm up routines, Selects music for movement, etc.
